Pot Luck 11/17/06

Dear Home Groupies,

This Thursday, November 17th, is our monthly pot luck, so bring some
food and prepare to eat! I (Erica) have Parent / Teacher conferences
that night, so I won't be home until late, therefore SOMEONE had better
show up if only to keep my husband company. I have heard rumors that
Julie will be making some sort of fantastic pumpkiny dessert, so you
won't want to miss it, and you'd better save me some! :)

The following Thursday is Thanksgiving. Sorry, no home group.

The last Thursday of the month is Nov. 30th, and we will be meeting
once again to discuss 2 Corinthians. I wonder who's teaching? Hmmm.
I did it last time ....

The first week of December will be BIG AND BUSY so mark your
calendars now. That Wednesday we have Bryden Place and the following
day, Thursday, is our last time to serve dinner at the YWCA Family
Shelter. Brian is working with Kara Hill to plan that service
activity. Our hope is that her home group will be joining us in this
effort. We will need folks to commit to helping cook, serve, and clean
up that evening. We will also need financial contributions to cover
the cost of the food we prepare and serve.
